Emma Neuberg is excited to present her new Digital Art & Design workshops with The People’s Print at Somerset House, the former residence of Queen Elizabeth I! In conjunction with the Crafts Council, Makerversity, Royal Society of Arts, Institute of Materials and the V&A, the workshops are part of the national Make:Shift:Do Open Studios events to open new tech crafts to the public.

Using Emma’s Adobe Illustrator techniques alongside traditional folk painting and collage techniques, the workshops helped participants learn new CAD skills to transform their craft techniques into beautiful ‘modern folk’ digitally-printed fabrics and apparel. The digital skills learnt are transferrable to other digital craft-making techniques too such as laser-cutting that can be accessed at the new Fab Labs opening across the UK.
