Inspired by her Grayson Perry award-winning design and recent experience of creative identity theft, this new collection of paintings presents an exciting departure into coded motifs and abstractions that illuminate a process of symbolic fragmentation and integration.
The works are bold, bright and geometric in oil and acrylics and the circular canvases present a recurring motif that acts as a satisfying coherence. Representing a point final, each painting is a bullet point marking the departure of the artist’s journey into the soul and bringing it into color and focus.
