Splendid Speechless F***k
Virtual Mini Show, February – March 2021
Splendid Speechless F***k opens my first Virtual Mini Show where I curate my works for this new, mini mignon series.
In February – March 2021, I’m excited to present two works that speak to me of before and after. The before seen in Speechless F***k, (2018), conveys the sense of frustration when silence in a person appears to indicate limited thinking. The listener wonders and in this wondering art is created. The after seen in Splendid, (2020), conveys the relief when the silence is broken and knowledge and connectivity flow again.
Curare in Latin means to have spiritual charge of and take care of. Cure and curate share the stem. The artist knows the curative effects of making art and here in Emma’s Virtual Mini Shows, we’re curating the stories that flow over the years of art-making to illuminate and share the gift of art for everyone to enjoy.
