We’re delighted to announce that a chapter on Emma Neuberg’s work is featured in a new V&A book. The book is called Plastics, Looking at the Future and Learning From the Past and takes a close look at all the artefacts in the V&A collections that are made of polymeric materials. It analyses their meaning, role and cultural value in the early stage of synthetic plastics’ life.

The chapter on Emma’s work focusses on issues of making plastics a precious material with cultural and environmental value added for longevity, purpose and functionality.

Plastics – Looking at the Future & Learning From the Past is published by the V&A and Archetype Publications, in London, 2008.
