I’m delighted to be awarded a Lincoln City Fellowship for the development of new, large-scale works. The works will be immersive pieces printed on paper for a total work of art effect. I will continue to develop my unique hand-drawn works and overlay and manipulate these in Adobe for pulsating, colour-rich landscapes.
The Speranza Foundation specializes in supporting artists who prioritize positive social change through their Lincoln City Fellowship program. They offer an unique and supportive platform for artists of all disciplines concerned with exploring narratives that bring transformational art, music, performance and film to society and culture at large.
With the working title Metabolizing Abuse, my new works promise to bring inspiring and mesmerising printed patterns to new audiences and museum visitors. My work continues to address the theme of the thwarted voice with a focus on the consequences of abusive behaviors within families.
