Emma Neuberg is excited to present her holographic printed works at the Science Museum in London. In conjunction with the new Materials Science Gallery, Emma shows two designs (one chair and one dress) using her innovative printing methods on plastics designed to enhance the value, perception and cultural currency of plastic products.
At the end of the millennium, culture is looking for new ways to address throwaway plastics and the Science Museum has selected Emma’s work as an example of ways to progress. Using new technologies to inspire a new visual language and meanings in plastic, Emma’s work presents new thoughts on longevity and cultural value of plastics and their potential for future reinvention.
