Emma Neuberg is excited to present her first collection of doctoral studio works at the Royal College of Art 2000 graduation show. Showing alongside all the graduating School of Materials’ artists and designers, Neuberg presents an innovative collection of printed handbags. The collection is called Faux Pas and alludes to the ‘bad taste’ of printed plastics for the whole of the twentieth century: a modernist snobbism that contributed to plastics polluting qualities and defined, pre-destined throwaway character.
